ViewMedica 5: Customizable, Elegant, Effective

Swarm Interactive is proud to announce the release of version 5.0 of our popular ViewMedica patient education system.
It is the culmination of years of work to perfect the patient education system that Swarm Interactive first published in 1998. See the ViewMedica History. The 5.0 upgrade is available free to all current ViewMedica users.

Customization
Practices using ViewMedica can now customize many visual and functional aspects of the ViewMedica viewer.

• From your admin page, you can change the color scheme for your ViewMedica viewer.

• Pick from many pre-made illustrations or point to your own photo or image to create a truly custom look.

• Each animation displays your phone number and a link to your contact page so potential patients can reach you for more information.

• With more than 425 animations, you can pick the procedures and conditions that best informs the viewers coming to your site.

Designed Elegance
The new ViewMedica 5 has a completely redesigned interface that is simple and elegant.

• The new sliding menu system expands to support long lists of animations and is easy to navigate.

• Menu text is larger and easier to read.

• Users now have full control over animations being viewed in narration mode. They can fast forward through the animation or jump to specific sections.

Spanish Support
Increasingly, bilingual support is becoming an important part of your practice. Now all ViewMedica animations are available in Spanish.

Full-Screen Mode
Users can now see the animations in full-screen mode. This is great for showing the animations to a group or for patients with vision impairments.

Ease of Use
Adding ViewMedica to your site is easy. The browser-based administration area has been redesigned to make editing your profile and animations easy.

• As always, ViewMedica is optimized to load quickly, even on dial-up connections.

• Embedding the viewer on your site is as easy as ever. And if you have any problems, a specialist at Swarm Interactive will help guide the installation.

• Having your ViewMedica viewer jump to a specific screen or animation by default is now simplified. Just right-click on the screen you want and select "Get Embed Code" from the drop-down menu.

Extensibility
ViewMedica 5 is a complete top-to-bottom redesign and reprogramming of the popular ViewMedica patient education system. The 5.0 upgrade is much more extensible than the previous version of VeiwMedica, allowing us to roll out even more exciting features in the future.

• Future versions of ViewMedica will allow physicians more features to customize. The creators of ViewMedica at Swarm Interactive are constantly working on updates and improvements to the ViewMedica system.
